Źmicier Zacharevič

Źmicier Zacharevič is a poet and bard. Born on March 20th, 1980 in Minsk. An active member of the national-democratic movement, his poems were published in Belarusian and Ukrainian media and periodicals. In 2015, he was the first Belarusian author who visited the front line near Mariupol at the invitation of Ukrainians, where he gave several improvised concerts for UNA-UNSO volunteers, National Guard soldiers and border guards.

Źmicier Zacharevič is a poet and bard.
Born on March 20th, 1980 in Minsk.
In 2002 – graduated from the Department of History.
An active member of the national-democratic movement, he was sentenced to fines and 3-week imprisonment. His poems were published in Belarusian media – the magazines „Dziejasḷoŭ“, „Maḷadość“, the newspapers „Literary Belarus“, „Literature and Art“, „Our Word“, etc.), as well as in the foreign literary almanacs „Termapiḷy“ (Poland), „Terra poetica“ (Ukraine), in Ukrainian periodicals. Laureate of the „Fest of one poem“ (2015) and the public creative competition „Kurapaty – People’s Memorial“ (2017, nomination – „Literary work“). Took part in bard and poetry festivals and literary forums in Belarus and Ukraine.
