Źmicier Kres was born in 1988 in Minsk. Graduated from Belarusan State Medical University. The author of the poetry collection „Viales‘ Tribe“, the book was shortlisted for the 2022 Michaḷ Aniempadystaŭ Award. His poetry and prose were published in Naša Niva, the magazines „Maḷadość“, „Poḷymia“, the virtual magazine “Taŭbin”, the Belarusan-Ukrainian literary almanac „Sprava“.
