Description
Valancina Aksak was born in the village of Smaličy, the Niaśviž Rajon [District]. Lives in Minsk. She has a diploma in history, an experienced journalist. She has published the books of poetry: „Cemetery“, „Chapel“, „Ancient Rain“, „Wine From California“, „Ružoŭnica“, „Wild Plum“, „Wrapped Paradise“, „Coffee In The Eagle’s Nest“, „Third Eden“. Her poems have been published in translations into Swedish, Lithuanian, Polish, Russian, French, Ukrainian, and English.
