Description
Olena Pashuk (Kitsan) was born on July 17th, 1982 in Lutsk. Candidate of Philological Sciences. Associate Professor of the Department of Theory of Literature and Foreign Literature of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.
Since 2002, Olena has been a member of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine. She was published in numerous magazines, almanacs, and anthologies. Published six poetry collections and a book of poems for children. Some poems have been translated into Polish, Bulgarian, Armenian, Romanian and Azerbaijani.
Winner of numerous literary contests and laureate of numerous literary awards, including laureate of the Borys Necherda Literary Award (2018), laureate of the Award of the Carpathian Knights Order (2019), laureate of the 2nd degree Anatoliy Krylovets Literary Prize in the nomination „Love Lyrics“ (2023).
